Campfire Coyote is a spellbinding new Americana duo from the Brighton area that bring together the mesmerizing vocals of Lucie Lorenz and the cool and always spot-on guitar of Rich Gibson.
It's hard to believe they were formed in 2024, because they look and sound like they have been playing together for a very long time. They delve into the world of folk, jazz, blues, and country bringing listeners a unique performance from the heart of these genres, with a repertoire that ranges from Billie Holiday to Hank Williams, French chanteuse Mistinguett to "Singin' Cowboy" Roy Rogers and many more.
You'll be taken to distant musical lands where women defend their wayward men and justice is delivered at the point of a gun; where love, longing, and loss cross ancient prairies and mountains; where humor lies deep and courage stands tall.
Coming late to the fray, Lorenz brings a unique sound that weaves together with Gibson's musical experience, bringing his long years of playing Spanish guitar and Latin jazz into the world of country, jazz and blues, giving the music a folk edge. Lucie's solid rhythm guitar is complimented by Rich's flourishes and solos.
